STRESS has reached a new level

IB everything seems to be next monday….and im not even here for the weekend

depressed depressed depressed….

i broke a new record: on sunday night i was up till 5 AM working on history/english—at least i wrote two kickass essays on Hamlet…

off to VENICE for the rest of the week

this was one of the best weekends of my life

and it started on thursday with a THRICE concert  so i didn’t really know them before, but avalon and victoire convinced me to go! after school, avalon and alex and i went into munich and ate at this cool asian place, sasou …then we went to the Elserhalle…we met some other people from our grade but they were all going to the arctic monkeys concert (including my history teacher and english teacher!!! ) we were in the hall early so we got to STAND RIGHT IN THE FRONT!!! against the barrier….it was so much fun!! people behind us were moshing and stuff and we were all just like AHHhhhhhhhh and the music was good and loud and blah blah….. got home at 1:00 AM….and couldn’t even study for a history quiz…ooppps (but it was worth it…you still gotta have some fun, right?)

then on friday, isabel and i went into munich early, had pizza, and then went to dance class for about half an hour! we left and then went to CINEMA at nymphenburg for ZOOM, the MIS film festival…a ton of people from school were there and we watched student films for 2 hours…all of them were amazing…how do you do that??? ahhahaha

the highlight was after the film festival though…a lot of people (me, ollie, kieran, andrea, paul, adrian, avalon, anna, bernhard, karl, nick, lindsey, phillip) went to this austrailian KAREOKE BAR, called the arc near the university!

so since we had adrian (really tall and australian) it was easy for us to get yummy cocktails without being annoyed by waiters about the ID thing….so i finally got to have my sex on the beach and pina colada in peace…. and bernhard and kieran sang kareoke…hahah…it was hiliarious…and of course i had ollie…who i love love love . it was sooo fun…and then for some reason my tolerance got kinda low and i got all hyper and fuzzy and weird and it felt weird….andrea and i kinda fell over some bikes and had to hold on to stuff…it was weird..but kinda funny anyway!  but never again will that happen to me…!

but the evening was still aweeesome! one of the best ever ever…

and then on saturday, i drove to austria with the horlachers, so that we could see the DALAI LAMA! we had to get up really early this morning…and we went to the town of huttenberg in austria where they are building a center for tibetan studies… and the Dalai Lama came to set the first stone…and of course he spoke and stuff…that was pretty cool

so been busy…cuz of course ALL the teachers are giving lots of work again…

but at least SPRING IS DEFINATELY HERE!!  the weather is so nice that everyone is outside all the time at school….the nice weather leads to the tendency to skip classes…haha..so many people skip to sit outside! i did skip french once (its not like i learn anything in that class anyway) but i wouldn’t do it too often…cuz some teachers are pretty picky…

but yay! we can wear skirts and shirts and sandals….

i had my first driving lesson!!! its so much fun!! i was so surprised…the car is a BMW……one good thing about living in germany! i was kinda nervous because she just told me to start driving around this busy town…?!?!?!traffic??? but i got used to it…and my 3rd lesson is tomorrow!!

last weekend oliver came over and we watched movies and stuff… its fun just to hang out at home…heehee…it was good cuz monday we had no schoo1! so we got an extra day to relax!

and then this weekend was crap!! so dancing class was pretty fun because christoph (the teacher) remembered us and he likes me and isabel so much because we speak english…its so cute! then i had to take the SATs…bleh bleh bleh  i hate them!

then i went to munich with andrea and avalon…did some shopping and just as we were getting back to andrea’s house, we get invited to go clubbing…so at 10:30, we’re back in munich but they take us to a club we can’t get into cuz we don’t have fake IDs…grrrrr stupid munich clubs…so avalon, andrea, and i couldn’t get in…the we went to Kultfabrik…couldn’t get in there either cuz it was after happy hour….and then we missed to last s-bahn! so we had to take a taxi all the way out!!! grrrr..

so catastrophic weekend…but this weekend should be better!! MIS film festival on friday!

back from vacation! well i got back on friday night but i was too lazy to update…

it was pretty good actually! better than i expected at least. i thought it would be very boring, but we did some important things for the house and so on…like buy beds and tables…blah blah

i celebrated my birthday in lausanne with ioana and michele…we ate cheese fondue followed by chocolate fondue!! haha….it was really an amazing meal..we were all really full afterwards!

bday presents…pretty varied…boots/shoes/books/belts/shirt….all pretty nice! and of course my piano was a big present…hehhee..still love playing on it! except mozart doesn’t like me anymore…i keep messing up when i play him….grrr….cuz i used to play it so well…bleh bleh…

in france…the weather was obviously warmer! it even SNOWED in munich while we were away….that made me sad…but its all gone now and spring is def. here…flowers…green grass…:)

one really good thing about france was that we got a PUPPY! we got her because the older dog (who is HUGE….he’s really big…but he’s a sweetie) needed a friend….so we got a very very cute beige puppy!! she would play and run….and she was soooo cute!! i miss her…in the summer she’ll probably be bigger…:( but still young…like 6/7 months…so hopefully still playful!

errrr….school starts again tomorrow….so that SUCKS!!! i miss people so much, but i really dont want to start working again…it makes me sooo depressed thinking about SATs, historical investigation, english oral, bio test, german written task…blah blah blah is all i have to say about that….o well….

EDIT:    FIRST DRIVING CLASS ON THURSDAY!!!!  very very excited!!

YAY….all the stress is OVER!!!  for now at least …..i took the worst bio test of my life today…so that’s not very good…but i don’t really care anymore…i need vacation!!!

spring break for 2 weeks starting saturday!! i’m going to lausanne again and then south of france…wow…that’s gonna be exiting……blah…i’ll be sooo bored…but at least it will be a bit warmer than here, which is always good…hopefully i can get a bit of a tan…i need some color!! just need to study for the wonderful SATs…bleh!

it’s my 17th BIRTHDAY on saturday!  it came so quickly this year…i’ve been so busy that i haven’t really been thinking about it. that’s kinda freaky…i’m gonna be in switzerland eating fondue followed by chocolate fondue….mmmm  

history was so much fun today….most of the class went to the library to research but a few people (ollie, kilian, kieran, stefan, and me) stayed to do research in the room…so mr. riehl left for 2 hours and we really were going to research but then we started watching a movie about the 1936 olympics which was soooo funny…we just mocked it the entire time…it was funny….

PROM was last saturday…so MUCH better than last year…..people actually went and everyone danced…it was great…plus i had a partner this time….i had a really good time…

then there was some trauma during the week  but now its all good… yay….

and now…la la la la…i feel like i can relax a bit more!

might not update for a while cuz i’ll be away…but who knows…

math is the worst subject in the entire world…..

it’s 2:15 AM and im still not done with this project…..this project has wasted like half my LIFE! and i didn’t even procrastinate…i’ve worked for 12 hours straight…..

but now im procrastinating…i’m slowly giving up on this stupid IB project….i’ve stopped caring……i hate it so much and if i ever meet the person who made up the last question i think i will kill them….

i mean, what the hell??? why do you have to WRITE about math….i can DO math…i don’t like explaining it…and what will i do with a stupid equation telling me about the surface area of a coke can???? WHAT???? even my teacher will get bored of the 24 pages i’ve written about MATH…..

i just have to say to myself: tomorrow at 1:30…it wil all be OVER!!!!!!!!!

im gonna die…..my head really hurts……

went to Kitzbuhel with anabell for the weekend….that was awesome. no pics though…just memos. and i have never eaten so much in my entire life….

friday: drove there….went out….coudn’t find anyplace to eat cuz everthing was full…so after an hour of trying every decent resaurant we went to the Tenne (the really fancy/expensive place) cuz we had given up hope. ..ate steak with onions…had delicious passionfruit dessert….rented movie (fever pitch)….watched fever pitch (very cute–about the boston red sox—a romance as well)…stayed up till 2 am talking about random stuff….

saturday: had fresh strawberry milkshake….nice sunny day…went skiing….went to nice berghutte and ate kaiserschmarrn with raspberries (the yummiest food in the entire world)…had soup and yummy salad….went home…got changed….went shopping (didn’t find anything though)…ate pizza…rented movie…went to the Tenne again and had kaiserschmarrn again (hehe)….then went to the bergsinn bar….drank two huge cocktails (pina colada and strawberry iced daquiri)…got even more full…stayed there for an hour….then went to the LONDONER…which is the coolest pub ever…anabell met a friend and she knew everyone there….so we got free red bull vodkas….great music…great atmosphere…wish there was a place like this in munich but its too big a city….it was great….never felt so full–food + cocktails….went home at 12:00…went to sleep…

sunday: got up early…did math…was such a nice day that we had to go skiing….went skiing in the sun…got a bit tan….ate 2 kaiserschmarrns….they though we were crazy….sooo good….drove home….played my new beautiful piano….worked….slept…

so i think that 4 kaiserschmarrn in one weekend is a record….haha…great weekend

school sucks…this distracted me a bit….need to go back to hell now….but i’m so glad that i have oliver to make me happy! cuz he really does

so….YAY….i just feel like i must gloate! cuz i feel bad doing it at school but here its much “safer”

soo…my midterm report was AMAZING! i was in shock…..my average is 7.16 and the highest grade is 7! (i get extra points for higher level classes) SO HAPPY cuz i was worrying about a few things (german and even french–the teacher seriously hates me!)

so i got a 7 in history, french (yay), biology (WOW—mr. mcmurtry like never gives 7s….omg!!!), german (wtf?? i got a 7 on the test–i guess the teacher got scared of me…who cares??) and a 7 in MATH (for the first time EVER….i used to suck at math….i got like Cs and Ds in 9th grade….but all of the sudden, i get it!!)YAY

and then i got a 6 in english….but that’s good for me cuz lumsden is scary/intimidating and the hardest grader in the school….so she didn’t give anyone 7s….

ok…done now….i’m just so happy…made me a bit less stressed…egghhh now i just have to keep them that way! esp. in german….

im gonna die of stress though…bleh! i have so much to do….=(

ok….so i haven’t updated in the LONGEST TIME! first of all i’ve been really busy with the move and second of all…the internet connection isn’t great yet! sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt! last time i wanted to post, i pressed submit and the internet shut down!! grr….

but ski week was really fun….the snow was great! i got a lot of exercise cuz the slopes were pretty steep and moguly so i had to turn a lot! it was fun tho….i also got a cute new ski jacket!
