  • finally got some time to update (although i probably should be working) and i’m very sorry that it took so long! i think that this year (at least the beginning of it) will see less of my through xanga, because i seem to never have time to update! but i promise i will try, only if i only write a few sentences!

so, therefore: WARNING THIS WILL BE A LONG BLOG!

i guess i have to start with the summer:

it the shortest summer i’ve ever had, yet it felt like the longest (i think its pretty much obvious why ) the first 10 days i was in lovely Boston and Lincoln, MA! i really loved being “home” and doing all sorts of random things i missed, like shopping in harvard square and going to marshall’s and eating brigham’s ice cream in concord!  but a highlight was definately seeing some friends which i had seen in YEARS, like since 8th grade. i saw my lovely rachel, KATE, julia, alexa, allie, and ZARA! it was so surreal seeing them all drive…haha…when i think back to 4th grade (or kindergarten in Zara’s case) of course i saw the usual as well: nicky and nader! and talked to them a bit, hehe, esp. nader about all the atrocites of american politics!  i was sad that i could see any of my bb&n friends–melody wasn’t there!  but i really love boston—its a great city! and next summer i’m going to come again and maybe even with oliver (who still needs to see boston and NYC–i must introduce him!)

and of course i saw the family: little maya, ben, and the cute TINY baby, Talia!  we had a very nice “pizza night” at melissa’s house!

then it was off to france for 5 weeks! of course it was beautiful and the weather was really nice (until stef and yas came! ) most days it was really hot in the high 30′s and the pool was wonderfully cool. and i was with my little MADALINA! love her very much–she’s like my baby sister…hehe….we spent many days tanning by the pool! at the beginning it was just the family and we went out to restaurants—it was peaceful! then all of a sudden about 15 people came at the same time…and kept coming! at the peak, there were 20 people staying in the house and 23 for dinner one night!

it was more lively when friends came…but i also had to work some! it got a bit boring in the middle…and of course i desperately missed someone! because there isn’t that much to do around there…but oh well! but then STEF AND YASEMIN came!!!!  it was really cool because at some point there were 7 teenage girls (although geli was 20—but o well!) and we played games and stuff! blehhhehehehee fun fun

then we came back to munich and i was VERY HAPPY to see my wonderful boy again, who gave me a cute teddybear and is very nice! i’ve been talking to him so much and spending a lot of with him at school—i’m glad i have him because he will help me get through senior year! AHHHHhh

I’M A SENIOR!!! never thought this day would come…it feels so weird to be at the top…hahahaha…no one above us! of course means A LOT of work…with IB (FUCKKKKkkk HATE IT!!!) and college apps! i really think i will die of stress this year…i came in to the first day of school and already had 2 essays assigned! is that normal??!?! and tons of SAT prep with a private college counselor and the application to Cambridge! AHhhaha…too much!  but i guess it must all work out in the end!

so i’ve been at school for 2 weeks….so BLAH! its been kinda relaxed because we had the grade retreats at the end of the second week, so we didn’t do that much before…not much homework (but then on the back of your mind are all these important IB deadlines…nooooo) and MIS can really be a messed up place…i mean they didn’t even start making the schedules until the day before school started!  so they were SO MESSED UP!! i was in 2 english classes and not in any math class! then they wanted me to switch to the other english class and the other math class for NO reason….just cuz stupid kurbis doesn’t teach us anymore….and he’s the best teacher!  but they put me back after i said: “I WANT MY OLD CLASSES!” hehe…im lucky that the office lady likes me!

then the first weekend——Oliver came over! on fridays we get out early so we went into starnberg and went to san fran coffee with phillip. then he came over to my house and we played foozball and watched lots of movies…ermm..hhehehe and the next morning it was a nice day, so we walked outside on this random field…

then at the end of week (thursday and friday) we had the grade retreats—bleh…ours was pretty much boring because on the first day we went to……MUNICH…..like we’ve never been there before! and all we did was walk around in groups (assigned! ) and had to find examples of math, sceince, art, service…blah blah…at least we gave some bread to a beggar woman! on the whole though, BORING!!

but friday was much better! the morning was horrible, but then we went BOWLING!  i love bowling…hadn’t been for ages…and i wasn’t that bad! i got a few strikes…hehehee…and with the whole grade, it was fun!

then friday night was awesome too—me and ollie first went to eat at this chinese restaurant, wok and roll (heehee) and it was very good…lots lots of chinese people ate there (so that’s a good sign!) but they had this really yummy all you can eat buffet! then after we went to THE ARC….yes so the last time i was there, it was amazing and….well…tipsyyyish….so much fun!

The Arc - International Bar Munich

well it was Adrian’s 18th party and everyone was invited, so there were quite a few people, which was good because it made things funny, esp the kareoke!! hahaha….ok…so JORIS (remember stef and yas—he’s that WEEIIRRRDDD guy who is a big annoying loser) well joris got really drunk (first time ever ever) and SANG!! i will never ever forget that…it was hysterical! and a close second: PHILIP sang too!! he’s nerd, genius boy! ahahaha…and he sang “shake your tailfeather” funny funny! even i sang!  but not alone…i sang with luce–we sand aerosmith’s “don’t want to miss a thing.” funny funny….

after i went to ollie’s house at midnight and we watched movies till like 3 am…and that was fun too! of course!

and now i miss him—i was there till 1 pm…waaaaaaa

today i also had SAT math prep and it wasn’t bad at all because the teacher is pretty cool and funny! so that’s good…since im going to have to do a lot!

well that’s my life for now! STRESS! but am determined to have a fun senior year with the friends that i love and that i will be very sad to leave at the end of this year!
