• so i’m back from the netherlands and from the tournament….but i still haven’t gone back to school cuz i got even more sick over the weekend!!  s

  soo….left really early on friday morning for amsterdam….we got to BSN (british school in the netherlands) at like 10 but the housing families were only coming later so we went to the coaches’ hotel and got this conference room so that we could practice!  some people from our team are REALLY good…..but i’ll write the results later……

  i was alone for housing cuz i was the odd girl out (3 girls, and i was left out! ) and they don’t allow co-ed housing anyway…. so i wasn’t with any friends!!! (aka ollie) but my housing family was really nice! they were actually from the south of france…coincidence?

  

  on saturday was the tournament!! we all ran around the school performing from 9 to 5! i mean when you weren’t performing you watched other people, which was really cool! some people are SO good!  from our team!  i was pretty nervous for my readings and i even went over the time once!! oops!

  at the end of the day we found out who got into the finals (only 6/30 from each group i think) not me (don’t care..everyone else was so much more experienced!) but christian and derek got in for there speeches….derek and viki made it in for oral interpretation…and one debate team got into the semi-finals.

  on sunday…..(i was SO tired….have never been so tired in my life! i had woken up every 2 hours the nite before coughing! i felt so dizzy and blah blah blah!! ) we saw the finals….really good! and the results: christian WON for his speech on geeks (SO FUNNY!) and MIS placed 3rd for debate….so overall not too bad at all!

  then we stayed at the school till 4 and then took the train to the airport! we were like 4 hours early for our flight…which was at 9:10. we ate and hung out at the airport buying random stuff (make-up , chocolate, cheese?!?! (dennis!! ) the our flight was delayed by half an hour…9:40 PM!! we played cards and talked and stuff…but we were pretty tired! finally we left and we got to munich at like 11 something! the the s-bahn was late and really slow….so we got to laim at 12:20….took the 12:40 sbahn  from laim and arrived home at 1:02 AM!!!  

  was pretty asocial i think throughout the thing though…spent a lot of time with oliver…hehehe

  i think a lot of S/D members didn’t go to school on monday….including me….missed a math test…but my teacher said it was ok and i could take it later. prob on thurs.

  so it was a really busy busy weekend….tiring and all that!

  but here IT’S SNOWING!!!! YAY!!! WINTER IS HERE!!!
