so i'm kinda depressed...got into a pretty bad fight with oliver again....although i didn't mean to do anything...and he.doesn't want to talk about it. (usually i wouldn't write about this stuff in my xanga...but i'm really mad!! i mean he didn't even tell me he was mad...he just stopped talking....makes me sad snice he's my best friend!!!

anyway...how does this relate to my post? well, to cheer myself up i looked at stef's 2003 konigsfeld pics from kodak (still had the website saved!)  konigsfeld!! (years 1 and 2)...so here are pics from year 2 (sorry yas...missed you a lot during that year...and i don't have digital pictures of year 1)

wow...i have absolutely nothing to write about...i'm just bored...and nothing has happened at school......it's so boring!! even the weekend was sucky....got into a fight with ollie, so i didn't see harry potter... def. seeing it this friday with blanca....the only other person who hasn't seen it!

but the wintery/christmas season is here! christkindelmarkt is open in marienplatz....and there's still snow on the ground....what should i get for christmas? here's a short list...cuz i'm bored!

so i'm back from the netherlands and from the tournament....but i still haven't gone back to school cuz i got even more sick over the weekend!!  s

soo....left really early on friday morning for amsterdam....we got to BSN (british school in the netherlands) at like 10 but the housing families were only coming later so we went to the coaches' hotel and got this conference room so that we could practice!  some people from our team are REALLY good.....but i'll write the results later......

i was alone for housing cuz i was the odd girl out (3 girls, and i was left out! ) and they don't allow co-ed housing anyway.... so i wasn't with any friends!!! (aka ollie) but my housing family was really nice! they were actually from the south of france...coincidence?

on saturday was the tournament!! we all ran around the school performing from 9 to 5! i mean when you weren't performing you watched other people, which was really cool! some people are SO good!  from our team!  i was pretty nervous for my readings and i even went over the time once!! oops!

at the end of the day we found out who got into the finals (only 6/30 from each group i think) not me (don't care..everyone else was so much more experienced!) but christian and derek got in for there speeches....derek and viki made it in for oral interpretation...and one debate team got into the semi-finals.

on sunday.....(i was SO tired....have never been so tired in my life! i had woken up every 2 hours the nite before coughing! i felt so dizzy and blah blah blah!! ) we saw the finals....really good! and the results: christian WON for his speech on geeks (SO FUNNY!) and MIS placed 3rd for debate....so overall not too bad at all!

then we stayed at the school till 4 and then took the train to the airport! we were like 4 hours early for our flight...which was at 9:10. we ate and hung out at the airport buying random stuff (make-up , chocolate, cheese?!?! (dennis!! ) the our flight was delayed by half an hour...9:40 PM!! we played cards and talked and stuff...but we were pretty tired! finally we left and we got to munich at like 11 something! the the s-bahn was late and really slow....so we got to laim at 12:20....took the 12:40 sbahn  from laim and arrived home at 1:02 AM!!!  

was pretty asocial i think throughout the thing though...spent a lot of time with oliver...hehehe

i think a lot of S/D members didn't go to school on monday....including me....missed a math test...but my teacher said it was ok and i could take it later. prob on thurs.

so it was a really busy busy weekend....tiring and all that!

but here IT'S SNOWING!!!! YAY!!! WINTER IS HERE!!!

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY STEF!!!!

how does it feel.....kinda weird?? i mean 17!! that seems sooo old! and we met when we were 13...that seems like a long time ago now!

well...I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU A LOT!!!!!!!! hope you get tons of cool stuff and are very very happy....

well....not much has been happening over here....MIS can't get through an entire week without some of the student population being gone! (MUN, sports, speech and debate) it makes school seem pointless!

school last week was awful....MUN people were gone...that meant a lot of my classes were empty and depressing! i also got SICK!! i'm still sick...have a weird cough that won't leave!  

then i was all alone this weekend cuz my parents went away and andrea cancelled on me on saturday, so i did't do very much!!! at least i got to sleep late!!

then on thursday i found out that i MUST go to the speech and debate tournament in amsterdam THIS weekend!!! i was gonna go see the new harry potter.....but NO!!!  i am also stressed because i need to find a piece to read!!!!! and guess when i have to leave my house on friday?!??! 4:30 IN THE MORNING!!!!!! i have to meet the group at 5:40 IN THE MORNING!!!!  who ever came up with the idea to make flights so early???? i hate them very very much! then we get back on sunday evening at 9...i'll be home at 10! i have a math test the next day!!!!  this all sux!!

ok done ranting now......

so i'm back!  been back since tuesday nite...but of course right after vacation teachers give TONS of work....essays/ labs/assessments!

but vacation was really fun...not as exciting as some other ones (we didn't really GO anywhere exotic, ) but is was fun anyway...

first we went to lausanne...say my godmother and celebrated her birthday....with FONDUE!  then we drove to france....ahh......long drive, but we listened to an agatha christie mystery, so it wasn't boring at all...

we got to provence....and ate a lot of yummy food and bought a new house!!!  its very empty now....we're gonna need to work a lot with furniture and stuff....but it will be exciting! everything is white...so we have to paint paint paint! my room will be a light yellow or peach i think...and i'm gonna have a canopy bed...hehe...ok need to stop thinking about that... we also got a dog with the house...he's a german shepard and his name is rock...forgot a pic of him though! he's sooo cute!

then we flew to london...best part of the trip! our hotel was in a really good location...near everything! we saw 3 amazing theatre pieces...loved them all!

first night we watched As You Desire Me with Kristin Scott Thomas, which was a really good play. She's a really good actress as well....the costumes were beautiful also...

saturday mom and i went to the National Portrait gallery and then to Waterstones, where i bought a lot of books....especially agatha christie poirot books...hehe...the on saturday nite, we saw:

i've seen this in boston a couple times, but when i was little. this was the best...the music is so pretty and moving...it's perfect!!! i'm glad i saw it again, especially after reading the book. i love the songs!!! the ending is so sad...we were all teary eyed (even my dad!) at the end!

on sunday we went and visited my dad's grandmother, so my great-grandmother (the nanny!) who is almost 89! we met her for lunch and then went to her house...i hadn't seen her since i was 7, so it was really nice. she's very sweet and optimistic!

on monday, we went to the tower of london and then to HARROD's! hehe...didn't get that much though, because they had a lot of american stuff....which is of course cheaper in the states! later we saw an agatha christie play:

it was another good mystery...couldn't guess the ending!

tuesday flew back home...and worked on world literature assignment...which is due in MAY 2007 but my teacher wants us to work on it NOW!!  stress for something in 2 years.....

school was nice....i didn't miss people during vacation, but i did miss them and loved them all even more when i saw them after only 1 1/2 weeks!  but nothing big happened at school....TOK essay/ bio lab....blah blah...oh and now...since im "so good" in math i get to work with karl and go AHEAD of the class syllabus...I DON'T WANT that! i just want to go at the normal pace cuz i already am taking 4 higher levels....grrrr! plus my seat was moved....so i can't sit next to paul/ ollie

well....half day today.....YAY  just relaxing...writing this and tv/movies. i'm annoyed at MUN....they get 3 days off school.....grrr....and that means that i'll be all alone in french class....i always have so much fun...but my friends are ditching me!!
