i don't want it to be sunday!  why are weekends so short?!?!

this week was ok...but i have a lot of work...why do all the teachers give projects due around the same time!! grr...

tuesday was a half-day!  and we wore our dirndels to school and then went to the wiesn! it was ok....we didn't go on many rides..we just kinda walked around and did nothing! we had good food though! then i slept over at andrea's cuz my parents were at the oktoberfest so they couldn't pick me up!

friday i did nothing...just relaxed and talked on the phone a lot!  i watched some previews for some new movies....they look really good!

then yesterday i went to the oktoberfest again.  we got into the paulaner zelt, but there were no seats....it was SO full! we got into the weinzelt...some security guy gave us this secret code to use at the back door...hehe...it was cool!

busy weekend....

first....my braces are gonnnneeee!!

so on friday andrea and i went shopping....and i got a few things, but then it started to pour with rain! we wanted to go to kilian's to have yummy pizza but we got there kinda late and it was full! so we went to outland instead to have big burgers () and we were remembering things about last year and kieran's party...who should walk in but kieran and his friend, aiden!  we then all went to ostbahnhof and played pool at this creepy pool bar! but it was fun anyway...haha

sat: shopping with mom! i love the store zara...it's so great! then we came home and watched:

great movie!!

then yesterday...i met hannah and we went to the WIES'N!!! YAY! went on a few rides...got dizzy! then we had yummy hendel (really good chicken that you can ONLY get at the munich oktoberfest!)  

and today school was loong and boring....but tomorrow is OKTOBERFEST DAY!! YAY! i'm gonna wear my pretty dress (tradition bavarian wear) to school...maybe i'll show a pic later!

now i have a ton of hw...math...blah....

i can't believe that friday is so close...the day i have been waiting for SINCE 5TH GRADE! MY BRACES COME OFF!!!! i am sooo excited...i will of course update with pics either tomorrow or saturday with my brand new smile!

i'm bored, so i just feel like updating, even i don't have that much to say! only that tomorrow i am finally going shopping with andrea in munich! yay  i think i will splurge a bit. heehee. then on sat. my mom and i will "shopping" on the maximilianstrasse so it will prob just be window shopping (but who knows?!? ...i want a new handbag!) and for lunch we're going out for sushi!! yummm!

oh and i went riding for the first time in 3 months yesterday! it went really well...i felt like i hadn't been away! (only now my legs are sore...)

and OKTOBERFEST STARTS THIS WEEKEND!!!!!! YAY!!!!  on tuesday, we all have a half-day whose sole purpose is to give us time to go to the Wies'n...that means on the wednesday after everyone is kinda sleepy and dead. hahaaa (at least i don't like beer)

haha....just had one of the best saturday nights!!  should have brought my camera!

so at 7 i went to paul's and ollie, andrea, tobi, and sissi were there. and of course we watched scary movies.... but it was actually kinda funny cuz when something scary came up the guys would grab us or throw pillows (or a panda bear stuffed animal ) at us so we would scream so loudly!  once there was this scene where all 6 of us got so scared cuz it was so unexpected...we all jumped forward. it was really funny. plus ollie's and toby's commentary on the movies were so funny!  

after two movies, we just talked about stuff and laughed...that was a good group of people. i cant wait for my house to be done!

i wish i could have stayed over night but my mom was sooo annoying ("you have homework...blah blah! )

now i have homework...really don't want to do it! why does homework exisit....i mean we do enough work in school!!!!

back from the GRADE RETREAT!!! the town in really pretty....it's medieval and it stayed the same, so it's really cute! the building are awesome...its like you're in a doll village or something!

the bus ride there was boring...andrea and i wanted to be on the other bus but it was full so we were in the front of the second....booooring!  so we just slept...

our rooms at the youth hostel were ok....kinda dusty. (remins me of the lindenberg rooms) but i was lucky with the roomates....i had isabel, alex, and pippa, which was cuteee!!!

in the evening we went on a night tour of the town, which was ok...but everyone was really tired and we walked around a lot..... 

then yesterday....we had this IB introduction thing...they told us all the requrements and blah blah blah!! we had to do this rally thing where we ran around the town and answered questions...and my team actually won although we went so slowly.  then we talked about TOK and then we had to do skits about MIS...one was soooo funny!  then we had pizza and a "disco." it was ok sometimes but the music wasnt that loud and it was repetative.

in the end i though it was ok. i guess the point was to "bond" but i felt like i talked to a lot more people at school than here. MIS became too cliquey during the retreat, while at school it's not so noticable. plus i realized the people i like to hang out with most are in different groups...hmmmmm.....but it wasn't terrible!

this morning we played "tug of war" between the homerooms and then we came back! yay...its good to be back!  i'm gonna eat and sleep and watch tv!!

sunday was fun...met jmo in munich and we did hw at san francisco coffee company....we actually procrastinated a lot!  we stayed at the sfcc for a looong time...like 4 hours...then it got too loud, so we went to jmo's new apartment! its so nice!! and huge! i had some quesedillas! yummm!

grade retreat: 1 full day of school left!

so 2nd week of school....  thats why i haven't updated in a week....busy and nothin really special happened at school anyway....

all i can say about 11th grade so far:

• a lot more work
• better teachers/better classes
• but so COOL!!

i feel a lot more social than last year...probably because i'm not new anymore...but still i just feel less self-concious and i realize that i really don't care that much about what other people think...last year i was just too shy. then at l'academie de paris there were all these people that had a lot of friends in different groups....and people liked them. i guess it motivated me to be more outgoing!!  

and in the end....i had a GREAT friday!

• french/math....not too bad
• history...yay!
• german...much better this class...we were actually talking about american politics and not german politics, so i could actually contribute and understand more!
• 2 hours of tennis....in the BLAZING SUN!!  (sooo hot!!)

then....i got home...schedules a haircut...and then less than one hour after school got out, i went to starnberg. so in the end, andrea, paul, george, adrian, toby, bernhard, and I just walked around and around by the lake and talked andgot pina coladas!  

i just got OC SEASON 2!!!! YAYY!!!!!

oh and "google earth" is the coolest thing....i zoomed into my boston house...it was really clear!

STEF----have you heard anything from novi since paris? i've e-mailed her...but she's never written back?? what about you?
