ok busy busy week! im too tired to write about it.....

so here's a very brief recap:

wednesday went and visited brown....

i really liked this place....it has a nice campus and seems like it had a good student community....also it is only an hour away from boston, which is really good for me! i liked that it had no core curriculum so i dont have to take math if i dont want to!!! YAY freedom!  sooo this is definately a candidate......wow and im only a rising junior  i am constantly telling my mom that... o well....

thrusday was the last day of my work experience...it was really fun and i got to eat lots of yummy food at the open houses!  then afterward i went to see:

it was very good...i like maggie smith and judi dench! it moved a bit slowly but you still werent bored...

then on friday: NYC NYC! yay we drove to new york and met angeline...we talked and we went to betsey johnson...i got these 2 really pretty dresses! later we met norma, a painter, and saw the play "orson's shadow." afterward we waited for a taxi for an hour...they were all full!!

sat we went to the MET and saw a chanel exhibition and then some more art...we met dana and ioana at this belgian restaurant which was really good...i ate so much!

sunday we met thomas d. at columbia and had a small tour...its also very nice but i still prefer brown...

monday: PRINCETON! we had a tour (in the POURING rain) and then dad took us around and showed us where he lived and what he did...we got to go into his eating club and we even found a picture of him! i really liked princeton too.....its very beautiful and there's a lot to do there!

now we're back....im hungry and sleepy....i want to do somethign exciting!!!

life here continues to be nice...

on tuesday i met melody, daisy, and sarah at the Boston Commons for a picnic....which was more like us hangning and eating munchkins and chips! i was late because parvine and i got lost in roxbury (the slums of boston) it was SCARY!! kinda sketchy and run down...a lot of liquor stores...never ever living in a place like that!!!

after our picnic....we walked around and went to the Public Garden and then Newbury street....we had starbucks! hehee oh and we gave our spare food to this homeless man! i mean we didnt want to throw away an entire untouched box of munchkins!! then melody went home and then to the airport! you're on a cruise now!! lucky you!!

daisy, sarah, and i went to sarah's house and watched: "Guess who's coming to dinner" with sidney poitier, spencer tracy, and katherine hepburn...it was a really good movie!

then daisy and sarah came over today and we just hung out and watched "Moulin Rouge!" we hadnt seen that in a looooong time! it was good...we kinda talked through it.

then nina, miles, melissa, maya, and ben came over...we had ribs (i've missed those ribs!!) for dinner...we just talked and i played with the kids...they're so cute!!!

tomorrow radu and roxana come over...we might go downtown!  

in boston!

been busy! im SO glad to be HOME!  but really sad that we have to sell our house  i love it so much and i wish we didnt have to...but my parents want to have 2 nice houses instead of one really really nice one...o well...thats life...IT SUX!

i met sarah, miranda, and daisy at the Boston Commons theatre and we saw...

it was cute but i liked the book a lot more!

well so far my work experience is going well....i have a lot of free days so that is good too!  its really hot here and i can always wear my summer things! ive gotten some really cool things after going to the mall, jasmine sola, and marshalls of course! ive missed the shopping here SO much!

so that was my super shopping spree...until NYC!!!!

so..yesterday nicky and bridget cam over! yay...i hadnt seent them in so long and they are/were  such cool neighbors! we always have so much fun! while we were waiting for dinner at my house, we walked to their house and got their kitten (SO CUTE!!! ) and then scootered back! they have these cool scooters...and i think im gonna get one!

then today my mom met melody and her mom and the legal seafood in harvard square. it was so nice seeing you melodY!! i missed you a lot! we'll keep in touch and have an awesome summer!

stef-- my friends melody and sarah  are also going to an oxbridge program, but theyre going to the one in cambridge...such a coincidence!

well...i dunno when i'll update again but...we'll see!!!

last day.... but in a way also *sniff sniff* i'll miss people!

 

said good-bye to people...alina's MOVING!  to burain (?!?!? spelling) so far away! and helen's going back to england, nadine to singapore!

at least i will be on my way to BOSTON!! yay...HOME!!!!!!

i'm gonna do all these things i've missed! seeing people...shopping...eating...watching movies...swimming!!! so excited!! oh...and im definately gonna go to a red sox game!

this past week i've been SO lazy...just sitting there and doing nothing!

on tuesday i went to my last dance class...it was SO sad...but im gonna take the bronz course with verena and hannah...keiko's moving back to new york!!!  very sad. we went out after and sat down at the biergarten of kilians and talked and took crazy pics!
