Month: August 2004

  • did a lot this weekend! yay...finally feel social!

so on saturday my mom and i went shopping for SUCH a long time!! we went to Maximilianstrasse, which is like the Fifth Avenue of Munich and it's SO nice. all the really nice names....we just walked into all of them to see what is so special about them! we wanted to classify them and basically chanel and armani are the best.

    and today...

went to an OX RACE! farmers get their best oxen and race them! it's so hysterical, because oxen are pretty stupid, so some start runny before the right time and some don't move at all! a lot buck their riders off....SO FUNNY! went with jenny, her mom, and my mom!

then after mom and i drove into central munich at i met up with some friends from school, anabelle, lindsey, isabelle, and malin. and we watched....

    pretty funny....

now at home and very tired....

  • got my new cell phone!!  it's really nice....love flip-phones, so much smaller! i will send everyone my number,  but i don't want to post it on my xanga...

also....yesterday my mom and i went around looking at all the riding schools....there are A LOT!  we found a very nice one: Pegasus Reitschule! can't wait! it's very ser ious. there is always a class even if the weather is bad. (they only have an outside ring at the moment, but they're building a halle) you learn theory, grooming, jumping, dressage, and taking care of a horse. then they have special competition days....with some games. and then of course some riding tests...errrr  very excited! and GUESS WHAT?!?! Jenny lives in a town really close from my new house and she has her own horse. mom kind of said that if i stayed in germany and if i learned a lot of riding then mayber i could get a horse or i could share a horse with someone!!  then i would put it in Jenny's stable!

also....going to jenny's over the weekend!

    in love with pucca now....

  • went shopping/walking around in Munich today! it's so nice.... first i went with my mom and then i went around with jenny (another new girl at MIS) and i FINALLY bought new jeans!!  they're light blue from miss sixty..fit perfectly! love them!

and then on the way back home, MY HAPPY ENDING came on! hehee  and it was SO funny, because the song was edited for the radion! instead of "ALL THE SHIT THAT YOU DO", it was: "ALL THE STUFF THAT YOU DO" haha...so funny!

  • right now i'm really depressed....school is depressing...all the people are nice, but i still feel left out....

i have to try it out some more, but i'm worried....

    feel like:

  • back from the mini trip in romania! it was pretty fun...A LOT OF DRIVING!!!  we took madalina with us which was good because it would have been boring for me! i felt so lonely away from my xanga.....even for 3 days!! boohooo...

the first day we drove through SIBIU, where we stopped for pizza and my mom had an embaressing experience! there was this man who kind of stood like a girl and had long curly hair and he was thin. well, he was standing with his back to us and my mom wanted to ask him about where we could sit. she said: MISS, where could we sit? SHE THOUGH HE WAS A SHE!!! he turns around smiling and says..."I'M A MAN!!!!!" HAHAHAHAA....so funny..... well then we got to DEVA and we stayed with some family there. they had a really cute girl...and dog and cat and 2 turtles, much to mada's joy! we stayed there the night....

the next day we walked around the town and then we met Stefan (harvard grad who tutored me in math) and Oninye (??spelling) then we walked around the hills of Deva and it was SO HOT!! we were all dying... Then we drove to BRAD, and then to Tebea, where this famous romanian hero guy is buried...and then we went to Vata and stayed there...blah! met some relatives blah...

then yesterday we woke up REALLY EARLY...  and we went to this HUGE cave where the were these ancient bones of prehistoric bears...so cool! then we went to this mountain place and took a long walk and then we went back to Vata and met a lot of relatives.....hmmmmm... mada and i spent a lot of time watching the opening of the olympics...such a nice opening!!

Today we got up late and left the Pensiune at like 11 and a CHICKEN CROSSED THE ROAD in front of us....BUT WHY? WHY DID THIS CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD?? heheeee
